Embedding Video in your web page - Streaming Video Provider

The process of adding the appropriate code for an external object's integration into a web page html is called embedding. Streaming Video Provider gives you four options of video integration / embedding into a webpage. Player embedding options are part of our streaming video hosting service.

Embedded player mode

In this option the video player applet is directly embedded into the page content. The player appearance can be managed in order to get the best results. Essentially the video becomes part of the content as it would be if an image was used in the same place. This mode is preferred in most of the cases as it provides the fastest access to the content. Also – it is very clear for the visitor how and where the video will be played. This mode provides the feature to switch to "big screen" or "full screen" mode directly from inside of the page.

Pop-up player mode

In this option there is a single link visible on the web page. When clicked – it opens a pop-up window with a player in it. This mode is useful when there is not enough space on the webpage to add a player or it is not possible due other restrictions. The pop-up window dimensions can be set and it is automatically centered in the screen. This player mode is universal and can be used in all the cases. The code is created in the way not to interfere with the pop-up blockers..

Pop-in player mode

Pop-in player is a combination between embedded player and a pop-up player. This is a unique mode exclusive to our service. The generated embed code produces a link in the page content. When the link is clicked - a large player comes on the right side of the browser window. This mode essentially provides the "big screen"/"full screen" feature of the embedded player but directly from a link.

Player Link mode

Player Link is a compatibility option. It works almost in the same way as pop-up player mode, with the difference that it doesn't use javascript to resize and position the window. This mode is useful when a website or CMS is restricting the content you add to your web pages. In all other cases it is preferred to use some of the other player embedding modes.
