Account
The Account section allows you to change your service plans and add additional services to it, to check your payment history and setup notifications, to edit your account settings, brand your player or setup your videos to upload automatically.
All these options can be accessed by the orange menu on the top of the page. It has 8 buttons:
Service Plans, Add-On Store, My Subscription, Payment History, Notifications, Branding, Edit Account, Integration
Service plans
Service plans are monthly packages that enable you to use the SVP control panel and all the different features included as part of that service plan. Bigger packages have more features and are more cost effective on a 'per-stream' basis.
CHANGE CURRENCY - Select a currency sign to convert the prices immediately.
Monthly Streams - Streams are deducted when someone is watching your published video. For each plan you have different amount of streams per month. To learn about how stream deduction works read our article What is A Stream ?. If you run out of streams you can always purchase more from the Add-On Store
FLV Video Storage Space - This is the video storage space available per month. As lons as you have storage space you can upload videos. You can always purchase additional storage space from the Add-On Store.
Pay-Per-View Playlists - These are licences for Pay-Per-View Playlists. If your users/clients have to pay for watching your videos, PPV Playlist is what you need. 1 licence allows you to publish 1 PPV Playlist. The Business plan is the most affordable one, where a PPV Licence is included. You can always purchase a PPV Licence from the Add-On Store regardless of your plan. TV Channel Playlists - These are licences for TV Channel Playlists. The TV Channel is a collection of videos. The videos can be displayed horizontally or vertically. A Search engine is available to your users, so they can easily find what they need. 1 licence allows you to publish 1 TV Channel. You can always buy more TV Channel licences from the Add-On Store. External Video Uploaders - These are embeddable uploaders. You can place them into your website, allowing your users/clients to upload videos directly to your account in SVP. External Video Uploaders can also be purchased from the Add-On Store.
Publisher API Access - The purpose of the SVP API for video publishers is to provide them with a clear and reliable server to server communication interface through which their own applications will be able to publish videos online. This interface provides automated means for nearly the complete functionality available in the SVP panel. Please read our detailed article about SVP API if you need to learn more.
You can modify your service plan 24/7/365 from your SVP control panel - service plans
Remember, if you modify your service plan, the features available with the old plan will be replaced with those from the new plan. If you downgrade, some of the features from the old plan might not be included in the new one.
If you are about to modify your Service Plan, we recommend waiting until you get close to your monthly payment cycle before you actually perform the downgrade or upgrade procedure.
- Example: If you subscribed on 12th of July and we have deducted £9.95 from your account, the best time to modify your plan will be around 11th of August, since we are not rolling over any remaining features from the old package to the new one.
Add-On Store
Add-On Store is where you can purchase additional features for your account. Separate recurring monthly charges will be created for each additional item you purchase. Additional features can be added or cancelled at any time from 'My Subscription'.
My Subscription
My Subscription allows you to review, cancel or renew your service plans and add-on features.
Payment History
Payment History is a complete list of all your transactions with us.
Notifications
Notifications helps you set alerts. You can tell our system to notify you when the streams in your account or your additional streams reach a particular number. By doing this, you will get a message before your streams run out and your videos will not become unplayable.
Branding
Branding section allows you to apply default corporate branding (watermark/logo) to all video players located under 'White-Label Single Players' & 'TV Channel' section.
Edit Account
Edit Account is the place where you can modify your account information.
Integration
Integration panel offers you a faster, automatized video upload solution. Pulling your video files from your own FTP/HTTP server folders is the quickest and easiest way to upload multiple files.
