  A: Streaming Video Provider provides an all-in-one streaming video publishing service that includes the streaming hosting, encoding and publishing. Our service is dedicated to business users looking for simple and cost effective ways of publishing their existing videos onto any websites. Our services are uniquely designed to meet the needs of small to medium sized companies. We also provide custom solutions for the large businesses.
• Q: Do you provide everything needed to make my videos accessible online?
  A: Yes. Everything needed to publish your videos is included in the price. Your videos will be hosted on our reliable CDN hosting. Your videos will be encoded to the best possible quality and will be playable with no buffering.
• Q: I have a video and would like to publish it today? What should I do?
  A:

  1. Create free trial account
  2. Choose the publishing solution
  3. Upload the video
  4. Go to embed section and generate embed code
  5. Copy and paste the code on your website and the video will appear there

  It is as simple as that!
• Q: Which of the following publishing solutions should I use? Small Business, White Label, and Basic TV Channel
  A:

  Small Business Web Video Publishing – use this solution if you wish to publish individual video clips on the separate pages of your website. You will need to copy and paste the html embeds code for each video(s) into your website page. When using this solution the video player that appears on your website is branded with our identity. There is a hyperlink at the bottom right corner of the screen pointing to our home page.

  White Label / Rebranded Web Video Publishing – it works exactly the same as the small business publishing solution but it lets you rebrand the video player. Ideal when you do not want your visitors to find out you are outsourcing the streaming technology from us. You can insert your own brand and hyperlink which will lead the visitors to your site. This gives you the opportunity to resell streaming service to your own customers at any price you desire.

  Basic online TV Channel – use this solution when you have many videos and you wish to publish them in the same page in your website quickly and easily. Instead of trying to integrate every single video that you have, you can simply integrate one Basic TV Channel. All videos that are uploaded in the TV Channel section in your control panel will appear in the playlist and your visitors will be able to choose what they want to watch.

• Q: Can I upload video files in all 3 publishing solution and use them as I want to?
  A: Yes. You can mix and match them.
• Q: How many video clips can I upload in my control panel?
  A: You can upload as many videos as you want. There are no any restrictions in the number of videos uploaded in your control panel.
• Q: Are there any length or size restrictions of the movie?
  A: No, there are no restrictions in size or length of the uploaded movie.
• Q: What about if I don’t have a website? Can I publish the video on your website?
  A: No we do not publish our client’s videos on our website. You must have your own website to integrate the videos on. If you wish to upload a video and show it to your clients you can simply generate Player Link from your control panel and distribute this link by email.
• Q: Do you share my content with other users like YouTube or Google Video?
  A: No. We do not share your video with anyone. On the contrary we provide facilities for you to protect your content.
• Q: Do you charge for your service and why?
  A: We do charge for our streaming video publishing service and that is mainly because the streaming hosting is part of the service. The charges are listed in the following section of this FAQ. There are some free hosting facilities out there, but they make their money from advertising. They simply take ownership of your videos and share them between their users. Also the playback quality is far away from what we offer. We do not share your video content with other users.
• Q: Why shouldn’t I use a free video hosting service instead of yours?
  A: There are several drawbacks imposed by using free video publishing services like Google Video, YouTube etc.

  1. Advertising - these services feed themselves on advertising and they will advertise to your customers too. In many businesses it is highly unprofessional and unrespectable to use such services.
  2. Quality - these video services convert your videos to low quality and the playback is not impressive. It is good for teenager clips and video shot by phone, but nothing more.
• Q: Can’t I use the hosting that I already have?
  A: There are two main reasons for you not to use the regular hosting for video publishing.

  1. Traffic - video publishing imposes vastly greater requirements to bandwidth and your website may be suspended by your hosting provider if you overuse your bandwidth.
  2. Availability - if several visitors are viewing video from a regular hosting the line to your server may be overloaded and your site may not load at all.

  We can provide up to 1000 simultaneous viewers and as our service is essentially prepaid you will never be suspended. Your website speed will not be affected at all.
• Q: I have seen companies charging per month. Why should I pay per visitor?
  A: It is much better to pay per visitor rather then committing to pay monthly fee and getting xx amount of bandwidth. That is because you will never be overcharged for bandwidth that you haven’t been able to use. You won't have to upgrade your monthly plan just because you have one peak month and then over-pay for years. This setup also provides you with a more convenient measurement visitor instead of the bandwidth. You can always track your visitors but would you know the exact size of the video you uploaded after it has been converted?
• Q: Is there a way to get paid for watching my videos? Is there a pay-per-view solution?
  A: Streaming Video Provider does not pay for content. We simply host it. However there is a pay per view video system that we have developed and sell to our clients that provides pay per view service for the content of our client under his own company. read more ...

Charges and account management

• Q: How much does it cost and what are these visitor points you are talking about?
  A: Most of our competitors are charging monthly fee for xx amount of bandwidth per month (GB/month).

  We think that this is very confusing and we have decided to simplify the things by charging you for each of your unique visitors who watches your video on your website.

  In order to offer you a discount, your account with Streaming Video Provider is represented in Visitor Points (VP).

  By opening an account with Streaming Video Provider we give you 50 visitor points for free. This means that when you upload and publish your video, only 50 of your online visitors will be able to watch that video.

  After each unique visitor your account will be charged with 1 visitor point. After - let’s say 45 unique visitors, who played your video - your account will have 5 Visitor Points left.

  You can upload and publish as many videos as you wish and each of them will deduct 1 visitor point from your account each time a unique visitor plays them.

  You can top up your account at anytime with any of the following visitor point’s packages. After the trial account we recommend to start with the smallest package of 500 visitor points. You will have a chance to see how many people watch your videos and – if needed - go for a larger package that gives you greater discount.

• Q: Visitor Points Prices?
  A: You can see currently available visitor point packages on our prices page.
• Q: When do you charge visitor point(s) from my account?
  A: We charge a visitor point from your account only when unique visitor watches the video for more than 10 seconds.

  You are not charged for the same visitor reviewing the same video again (within 1 hour timeframe).

  You are not charged for a paused player displayed in your page. You are only charged when the video is played.

• Q: How much do you charge for each publishing solution: Small Business, White Label, and Basic TV Channel?
  A:

  Small Business Web Video Publishing – You are charged 1 Visitor Point (VP) per 1 unique visitor.

  White Label / Rebranded Web Video Publishing – You are charged 1.5 Visitor Points (VPs) per 1 unique visitor.

  Basic online TV Channel - You are charged 1 Visitor Point (VP) per 1 unique visitor + monthly rental subscription

• Q: How much does it cost to use your Basic TV Channel?
  A: We charge monthly rental fee (see prices) per each basic TV Channel that you create + 1VP per played movie from the playlist of the channel.
• Q: Do you charge more if my movie is longer?
  A: Yes we do. All the visitor points’ charges above are based on up to 10 minutes long movie. If the movie is longer than 10 minutes the system will deduct from your account 1VP per every 10 minutes for the Small Business and the Basic TV Channel solution and 1.5VP(s) for the Rebranded/White label solution

  Example:

  30 minutes movie(Small Business Web Video Publishing) will cost you 3 x 1VP = 3VPs
  If you are using White Label / Rebranded Web Video Publishing 30mins movie will cost you 3 x 1.5VPs= 4.5VPs

  120 minutes movie(Small Business Web Video Publishing) will cost you x 12X 1VP = 12VPs
  If you are using White Label / Rebranded Web Video Publishing 30mins movie will cost you 12 x 1.5VPs= 18VPs

• Q: Can I set up a specific budget for a particular video?
  A: Yes you can. Simply set up a "quota" for the selected video and the system will dedicate specific number of VPs from your main account for that video. Once the dedicated VPs run out the video will become inactive.

  You will be notified about low quota and depleted quota levels when these are reached. This is a great feature in a case when you are providing streaming video service to your own clients and you have charged them fixed amount of visitors. By using the quota option you will not be overcharged by us for service that you provided but haven’t charge your own customer.
